• Choose your best photo! - Select one of your own photos to use as the image on the front of your postcard, e.g. a favourite pic from the camera roll on your phone.
• Choose your recipient, e.g. a friend or family member who you want to send the postcard to - Add their name and address.
• Write your message, which will go on the back of the postcard to your recipient. You can write up to around 600 characters in 20 lines.
• Make payment A pigeon will pop up saying that we have your order. You will receive a confirmation email and a link to get a receipt. We will set about preparing the postcard. Your recipient will then receive the physical version of the postcard in the post, within the typical posting times for their country.

£3 per postcard for all the destinations.

This includes all costs, printing and postage. There are no extras.

We post to the UK, most of Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

Your postcard will be printed on great quality 350gsm laminated cardstock. It's super sturdy, will happily survive the rigours of the postal system and will be around for a very long time, making it a great keepsake. Our Instagram is a good place to see examples.

They come out in colour within your message and look great.

Your image is used only to create your postcard and is deleted within 45 days. We don't use your images for marketing, analytics, or anything else. We would also never use your photo on social media without your permission. Your photos are yours and stay yours.

Sometimes, completely out of our control, postage systems can let us down. We hate that this is the case, but rest assured it's rare.

If your postcard does not arrive within these times, please email us at hi@postcard-pigeon.com.

In the worst case, if it's lost, we will give you the option of a reprint and resend, or if you prefer, we can fully refund you.

We hate cookies as much as everyone else, so we decided not to use cookies for tracking in any form. No marketing cookies. No analytics cookies.

Yes, this is an option at the end stage of the process. When you have sent your postcard, you will be asked if you want to send it again.

No, only with explicit permission. Almost all of our posts use our own images and postcards which have been sent to ourselves. On very rare occasions we may post an image which is not ours, but this would only ever be with the user's permission.
